St. Peter's Church Slinfold
About St. Peter's
Welcome to St. Peter's website!
Our church (like any church) is a community of people with one thing in common: our love for Jesus Christ. We try as best we can to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Our regular Sunday services happen at 8:00am (a service of Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays), and weekly at 9:30am (format varies from week to week). Occasionally there are changes to these times.
Aside from our Sunday worship, we have a home group, jointly with St. Nicolas Itchingfield, which you can join, a midweek service at 10:00am most Thursdays, and all sorts of other activities!
In all that we do, our aim is simple: to share God's love and do his work in this community. You'll always be very welcome to join in!

From the Rector
On Sunday 14th September, I announced that my family and I will be leaving these parishes and moving to West Chiltington, where I shall be Rector there. The announcement I made was as follows:-
" After 11 very happy years here, the time has come to move on.
For some while, we have been seeking God's guidance for our future. During this process, the Bishop asked me to consider moving to be Rector of West Chiltington. After giving the matter a lot of time, thought and prayer, it seems that this is indeed where God is calling us and so we shall be leaving towards the end of the year. My last Sunday in these parishes will be December 14th, we shall be moving house during the Christmas holiday period, and I expect to start work in West Chiltington towards the end of January.
Those of you who are used to the ways of the Church of England will know that, following my departure, there will be a period of time during which a new Rector is sought - the interregnum. During that time our Churchwardens will bear a special responsibility, and I would ask you to remember them in your prayers.
Deciding to leave these parishes, where we have been so happy, has been possibly the hardest decision I've had to make
I would like to thank you all for the pilgrimage that we have shared together these last 11 years. The faithfulness, love and care that's been so evident among you gives me the confidence to move on, knowing that you will continue to witness to God's presence here. Thank you all"
