St. Peter's Slinfold Appeal Fund Talent Scheme
After the example of the Parable of the Talents (St. Matthew's Gospel, chap.25) in Autumn 2007 St. Peter's Church in Slinfold gave parishioners the sum of £10, for them to increase it by the use of their own talents, for the appeal fund. The intention was that the initial stake be returned in the New Year with whatever increase has been achieved. This raised some £3,500 but some talents are willing to continue their services in 2008. Ask them about it
