St. Peter's Slinfold Appeal Fund

Why the Appeal?

The St Peter's Slinfold Appeal of 2001 was launched primarily to raise funds to build an annexe to the northwest corner of the Nave to include a toilet (with disabled facilities) and a utility area, and with secondary objectives of internal improvements to other parts of the Church. The Horsham District Council planning permission (2004) is for a small single-storey annexe - see item 2 in Figure below

The fund has now reached our initial target of £130,000 to cover this first phase. The building work includes the provision of mains water and drainage services to the church which do not exist at present.

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) has received a Church 'Faculty' (internal C of E planning permission), and work on the annex has started (see 'latest news' on our home page).

Saturday 20th February

Fun Quiz in Slinfold Village Hall 7.15pm for prompt 7.30pm start
Enter a team of (maximum) 5 people or come along and join a mixed team.
Cost £8 per head (to include Home-made hot supper). Bring your own drink

The Choir Stall

An ongoing activity; Eileen and Janet and occasionally others have preserves and baked goods and some produce available for sale after the 9.30am service most Sundays. If you want something special produced, talk to them about it (but do give them enough advance warning)
