St. Peter's Slinfold Appeal Fund
Why the Appeal?
The St Peter's Slinfold Appeal of 2001 was launched primarily to raise funds to build an annexe to the northwest corner of the Nave to include a toilet (with disabled facilities) and a utility area, and with secondary objectives of internal improvements to other parts of the Church. The Horsham District Council planning permission (2004) is for a small single-storey annexe - see item 2 in Figure below
The first phase, building the Annexe, has now been completed. Further work is still planned and we still need to raise more money.
Current and Future Events
- Friday September 17th
- Antiques Valuation evening in the Church, with local expert Rupert Toovey.
8pm Entrance by ticket only, to include light refreshments and valuation of one item (or set) We regret portable items only.
After the valuations Mr Toovey will give a short talk on a selection of the most interesting items brought in. - Saturday 9th October
- Concert with 'New Harmonie'; 7.30pm, in the Church
From Tin Pan Alley to Abbey Road

- Jumble Sale; Village Hall 2pm. Jumble accepted from 10am
- The Choir Stall
- An ongoing activity; Eileen and Janet and occasionally others have preserves and baked goods and some produce available for sale after the 9.30am service most Sundays. If you want something special produced, talk to them about it (but do give them enough advance warning)
- Slinfold Calendar 2010
- An A4 size, month-to-a-view, appointment calendar for next year,featuring Slinfold clubs, societies and associations. includes a planner for 2011. Costs £6. If you'd like to order one

- The original Talent Scheme was in 2008 and this resulted in just over £3500
